Are there any transaction fees?

No. The plan pricing you see is fully inclusive of all costs associated with the Swell platform.


Is there a hosted storefront?

Swell comes complete with a store theme that's hosted by us, but you might choose to go fully-custom and build something from scratch using our API.


How is my data secured?

Data security and privacy is our top priority. All data is transferred and stored using industry standard encryption methods. Where applicable, customer credit card information is stored in our PCI-compliant vault.


Is a credit card required to sign up?

We do ask for a credit card during sign-up. Your card will not be charged if you cancel your account before the free trial ends.


Are there any setup fees?

No, there are no setup fees on any of our plans.


Can I change my plan after sign up?

Of course! You can upgrade or downgrade your account at any time.


How long are your contracts?

Swell plans are billed monthly unless you sign up for annual or biennial plans.


Are expert development services available?

Reach out to us with your project details and we can introduce you to expert develoeprs with experience customizing and building on the Swell platform.


Do you have a partner program?

Yes, contact our partner team to apply for our partner program where we offer benefits for referring and managing client accounts.


Do I need my own web server?

No. Swell is a completely hosted ecommerce platform, however you might choose to develop custom applications hosted on your own servers using our API.


How do I migrate data from another platform?

You can import products yourself from a standard CSV file, and other data can be transferred by our team. Reach out to us for more information on our data transfer services.


How do 3rd party integrations work?

We offer a number of standard integrations with payment gateways and other services including ShipStation


What if my payment gateway is not supported?

We frequently review requests to integrate with new credit card payment gateways. In fact, your preferred gateway may already be on our to-do list. Just reach out and our support team will let you know if and when your payment gateway can be integrated.


Can I cancel my account any time?

Yes, you may simply cancel your account any time before or after the trial period and you will not be billed again.


Are there any discounted plans?

Yes, we offer 10% and 25% off annual and biennial plans. You'll see the options and discounts available at sign-up.


Is there any cost for bandwidth?

We do not charge for bandwidth usage. All plans include unlimited bandwidth.


Are there any API limits?

The Basic plan has an API limit of 20,000 calls per hour. The Standard and Advanced plan has an API limit of 100,000 calls per hour. Our enterprise plans have no API call limits.
