Nowvac is a manufacturer of industrial vacuums. They offer a wide range of products, including portable, stationary, and central vacuum systems for various industrial applications. Nowvac's industrial vacuums are designed to efficiently collect and remove dust, debris, and other contaminants from production lines, warehouses, and other industrial environments. Nowvac also provides custom solutions to meet specific customer needs and offers comprehensive after-sales support, including maintenance, repair, and technical assistance.
Challenges
Previously, Nowvac used SAP Hybris as their e-commerce platform. They switched to Swell in order to create a B2B marketplace for vendors of specialized industrial and scientific vacuum equipment, allowing them to reach a vast and untapped customer base. One of the challenges Nowvac faced with SAP Hybris was the complexity of the platform, which made it difficult for their team to build customized solutions that fit their specific needs. Additionally, SAP Hybris required extensive technical expertise to operate and maintain, which resulted in high ongoing support and development costs.
